How to Turn Off Shot Aiming and Pro Stick Aiming in NBA 2K23
/Shot aiming is not for everyone. Despite the several benefits of pro sticks, players find it difficult to properly aim shots. If you’re suffering from the same problem, fret not. This guide will help you switch it off.

HOW TO DISABLE SHOT AIMING & PRO STICK AIMING IN NBA 2K23
Follow these instructions to disable shot and pro stick aiming in NBA 2K23:
- Go to Options and search for Controller settings.
- Look for Shot Aiming at the top.
- You will have 3 options to choose from. You can either turn it off, set it for shots only or set it for both shots and layups.
- Pro stick is turned on by default in the controller menu. You cannot directly turn it off; you can only change it to do something else.
- Once again, go to Options > Controller settings > Pro Function.
- There are three options to choose from: Default, Shots and Dribble.
- Select Dribble and exit the settings.
- Now you can use the square or X button to shoot the ball.
