inZOI Save Location: Where to Find and Backup Your Game Files

inZOI isn’t your typical life sim. It’s entirely about emergent story – the Zois do their own thing, relationships fall apart and get together, rumors spread. You’re basically a god watching over the chaos… and yeah it makes Sims 4 seem like a kid’s game. The AI is actually smart like really smart.

Because so much happens that you don’t directly control, losing your progress would be painful. So here’s the crucial save folder:

%USERPROFILE%\inZOI\SaveGames\

Win Key + E (opens up file explorer). Copy that line above and paste it into the address bar, press Enter. Done. Run (Win + R): Paste & Enter.

Manual: This PC > C: > Users > [Your Username] > inZOI > SaveGames (seriously, just copy-paste).

It’s just your user directory. Windows uses it so it works for everyone. BACK. UP. YOUR. SAVES. Seriously.

Copy the entire SaveGames directory to a USB stick, cloud storage – anywhere but your main drive. Do it often. Like, really often… inZOI is unstable, crashes will occur. Be prepared.
