Kingdom Two Crowns – Currencies
Coins are the main game currency, used for hiring subjects, building defenses, and progressing through the game. There are many ways to find coins, but only a limited amount can be held in your bag before it overflows. Any overflow coins automatically fall to the ground or into the water.
Coins are not shared in multiplayer; each monarch has their own coin bag. To share coins with your partner, you’ll need to drop them on the ground for them to pick up.
Gems serve as a secondary currency and are used to activate certain special structures. They can only be found in gem chests and are carried in the same pouch as coins, though they take up significantly more space. When taking damage, gems are knocked out of your bag only after all the coins have been lost.
They can be dropped on the ground only if your bag is empty of coins. Gems can be stolen by Greed, but unlike coins, they will never randomly fall into the water if knocked out of your bag. More research is needed on this.
