Logitech G29 Force Feedback Settings for DiRT 4
/FFB Settings
I’ve been experimenting with the Force Feedback (FFB) settings on my G29 wheel, and I found a configuration that feels significantly better than the default. This new setup has really enhanced my gaming experience, so I wanted to share it with all of you.
Here are the settings I’ve settled on:
Self-Aligning Torque: 80
This controls how much the wheel fights against your input to return to its natural position.
Wheel Friction: 10
A lower value here reduces the resistance of the wheel, allowing for smoother turns.
Tyre Friction: 90
This setting adjusts how the friction from the tires is translated through the wheel.
Suspension: 90
Suspension feedback gives you a sense of the vehicle’s weight distribution and how it responds to the road.
Tyre Slip: 0
With this at zero, you won’t feel much feedback when the tires lose traction, which can be a preference for some.
Collision: 50
Moderate collision feedback provides a balanced response when hitting obstacles.
Soft Lock: 85
Soft Lock limits the wheel rotation to match the car’s real-life steering limits.
Steering Center Force: 0
This controls how much force pulls the wheel back to the center, which I prefer to keep off.
Steering Center Force Enabled: Off
Disabling this option removes the automatic centering force, giving you full control.
Give these settings a try and see if they improve your experience as well!
