Lords of the Fallen: How to Turn ON/OFF VSync
Ever been in the middle of a heated battle in Lords of the Fallen and noticed some weird screen tearing? Or maybe things feel a bit too smooth and you’re missing that raw, gritty feel?
VSync, short for Vertical Synchronization, is that nifty feature that stops your screen from tearing and making the game look like a glitchy mess. When it’s ON; it matches the game’s frame rate to your monitor’s refresh rate to give you smoother visuals. But if you turn it OFF; you might squeeze out some extra frames at the cost of potential screen tearing… Depends on your vibe, ya know? Anyway, if you’re looking to toggle that setting, here’s how:
How to Turn ON/OFF Vertical Sync
Method 1
- Open Lords of the Fallen.
- Access the settings menu.
- Go to the display section.
- Locate the VSync option (typically around the fourth spot).
- Use the arrows to toggle.
Method 2
For some reason, if the game’s acting all weird and doesn’t let you mess with the VSync, we got a backup plan. Check this:
- Right-click on Lords of the Fallen in your game library.
- Select “Launch Options” and enter “-DLSSFG”.
- Start the game & go to settings.
- Activate DLSS, turn off FRAME GEN, deactivate DLSS.
- Turn off VSync.
