While passing may sound as simple as pressing X/A button to pass the ball from one pas to another, NBA 2K20’s advanced passing system has a few different ways it can be done.

Pass Type	Button (PS4/Xbox One/ Switch)
Normal Pass	X/A/B
Bounce Pass	Circle/B/A
Fake Pass	Triangle/Y/X
Jump Pass	Square+X/X+A/Y+B
Icon Pass	R1 + Specific Player
Flashy Pass	Double Tap Circle/B/A
Alley Oop	Double Tap Triangle/Y/X
Basket Pass	Hold Triangle/Y/X
Touch Pass	X Before First Player Gets the Ball
Pro Stick Pass	Hold R1 + Move Right Stick in a Direction
Give and Go	Hold X Until Caught, Move Off Ball Holding X, Then Release
