NBA 2K23 – All Finishing Badges Guide
/Builds that focus on finishers are never the same. What works for one player may not suffice for someone else. A bigger player with a bulky physique has different priorities compared to someone who is small and nimble. This guide contains a list of all the finishing badges, both old and new, so that you can pick the right one for your players.
ALL NEW FINISHING BADGES
- Aerial Wizard – Lets players successfully execute putbacks and alley-oops.
- Bully – Lets players bulldoze through defenders and finish strong. It is ideal for bulky players such as LeBron and Giannis.
- Masher – Greatly improves a player’s ability to finish inside layups over nearby defenders.
- Slithery – Lets players avoid strips and collisions while making it easier for them to gather through traffic.
ALL FINISHING BADGES
- Acrobat – Grants the players a higher chance of hitting difficult layups. Hop step, half spin, spin, euro step, cradle, change, and reverse shot layup attempts all get a significant boost.
- Backdown Punisher – Boosts a player’s ability to successfully back down the opposing defenders. Players are also more successful when they are backing down a defender in the paint.
- Dream Shake – When doing fakes in a post, defenders have an increased chance of biting. Moreover, shot fakes and shot attempts right after a post move receive an increased shot percentage.
- Dropstepper – A player’s ability to use dropsteps effectively is greatly improved. Hop steps and drop steps have better chances of succeeding. Furthermore, performing drop steps and hop steps has a better chance of protecting the ball.
- Fast Twitch – Speeds up a player’s ability to get standing dunks and layups way before the defense finds an opportunity to contest the shot.
- Fearless Finisher – Greatly improves the player’s ability to convert contact layups and reduces the amount of energy lost during the encounter. Players also have a higher chance of absorbing contact and finishing anyway.

- Grace Under Pressure – Standing shots taken near the basket receive a boost.
- Limitless Takeoff – Players will begin their layup or dunk from farther out than the rest when attacking the basket.
- Lob City Finisher – Chances of sinking an alley-oop layup/dunk greatly increases. The badge also improves the player’s ability to successfully complete an alley-oop dunk/layup attempt. However, the receiver should take the shot before landing.
- Mouse in the House – Players have a better chance of successfully finishing when attacking a smaller defender.
- Post Spin Technician – the effectiveness of a post spin or drive greatly increases. Players also have a reduced chance of getting stripped, and they can do more effective moves when executing a post spin or drive.
- Posterizer – The likelihood of posterizing the opponent is greatly increased.
- Pro Touch – Players with optimal layup timing receive an additional boost to their attempts. Moreover, players with excellent, slightly late, or slightly early shot timings on layups receive an additional boost to their shot percentage.
- Put Back Boss – Players receive a boost to their shot percentage when attempting a putback following an offensive rebound. Additionally, players who attempt a putback dunk or layup receive a boost to their shot attributes following an offensive rebound.
- Rise Up – Players under the basket can dunk more easily.
- Tear Dropper – Players can knock down floaters and runners more effortlessly.
- Unstrippable – The chances of being stripped are greatly reduced, especially when performing a dunk, a layup, or when attacking the basket.
