The Flashy Dunk is a favorite move in the NBA 2K series. It’s easy to execute, looks cool, and earns you a lot of points from your fans. Here is everything you need to know in order to execute a flashy dunk.

HOW TO PERFORM A FLASHY DUNK

First, you must have a high enough player rating to execute a flashy dunk animation. Second, timing is key, so practice your dunks before testing your skills in an actual game.

There are two types of flashy dunks: One-Handed and Two-Handed.

One-Handed Flashy Dunk

Drive towards the basket by pressing R2/RT. Flick the Right Stick downwards, release it, and immediately hold it upwards.

Two-Handed Flashy Dunk

Drive towards the basket by pressing R2/RT. Flick the Right Stick upwards, release it, and immediately hold it upwards once more.

Dunking is cool if you know when to execute it. Doing a flashy dunk near an opponent will earn you a swift block. Use the move sparingly and when you’re reasonably open. Otherwise, look up some other NBA 2K23 moves to add to your collection.
