NBA 2K23 MyTeam Challenges – Season 1 to 9 (PS5 Exclusive)

It has been confirmed by 2K that the NBA 2K23 MyTeam Challenges are exclusive to the PS5. Additionally, fans will be able to unlock various challenges versus Michael Jordan through all nine seasons of MyTeam. Let’s take a quick sneak peek at what the 9 seasons have to offer NBA fans.

Here is a list of all the Season Challenges:

Season 1 – Rookie of the Year

During Jordan’s rookie years, he did not waste any time establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with on both offense and defense. To honor his dedication and hard work, your goal in the first season of NBA 2K23 will be to stop the ‘85 Chicago Bulls. To beat Jordan and collect your reward, score 50 points as a team.

Season 2 – All Star Dunker

Jordan’s raw athleticism came into the limelight during the 1988 All-Star Weekend, where he earned his second consecutive win in the Slam Dunk Contest. He also earned the title of All-Star MVP at the rim, alongside his Slam Dunk Champion title. During your faceoff with Jordan and his ‘88 Conference All-Star teammates, you will have to score 10 ferocious dunks to complete the challenge.

Season 3 – Defense Wins Championships

The 1991 NBA Finals victory wouldn’t have been possible without Jordan’s legendary defensive skills. It also secured him the first ring of his career. Your goal in this challenge is to prove your lockdown defense skills by ruthlessly swatting down 5 shots.

Season 4 – Win as a Team

Jordan may have bagged the MVP and Finals MVP titles in 1992, but it would have been impossible without his teammates. Furthermore, MJ was not only an outstanding scorer, but he was also a great facilitator, supporting his team whenever they needed it. Therefore, the Season 4 rewards are based on teamplay and will be unlocked once you complete 10 team assists.

Season 5 – Three-Peat Triples

With Jordan leading the charge, the Chicago Bulls pulled off the unthinkable and managed to win three back-to-back NBA Finals. In a tribute to the three-peat, your goal in the fifth season of MyTeam is to score 5 three-pointers against the Bulls.

Season 6 – Flying Air Jordan

All-Star games are usually a dunk fest where the most talented players meet to compete against each other. In line with the theme, the Season 6 challenge requires you to do 10 dunks to unlock the season reward.

Season 7 – Face the 72-Win Bulls

The Season 7 challenge can be a bit difficult. It pays homage to the Chicago Bulls’ record-breaking 72 wins in a single season. They held the record for 20 years, until the Golden State Warriors took the crown with 73 wins. In honor of this record-breaking achievement by the Bulls, your goal is to score 72 points against them and secure the reward.

Season 8 – Behind the Arc Range

The NBA has evolved over the years. Three-pointers are the preferred mode of scoring today, though they were rarely seen during the 90’s. Therefore, to overcome the Season 8 challenge, you’ll sink at least 10 three-pointers.

Season 9 – The G.O.A.T.’s Final Challenge

The Bulls managed to pull off yet another three-peat in the 1998 NBA Finals. Jordan even managed to close out the series with an impressive 45-point score. Pay homage to MJ’s legacy and score at least 45 points in one of your games to win the season reward.
