New Cycle PC Controls and Hotkeys

The collapse of the Old World and the crumbling of society has thrown humanity into chaos. A devastating solar flare wiped out every aspect of civilization, leaving people to fend for themselves in a desperate fight for survival. In this world of tribalism and decaying atmosphere, your group has become determined to restore purpose and unity to humanity while ensuring the continuation of life.

New Cycle, the first project from Core Engage, is looking to shake up the colony survival genre by introducing fresh and improved mechanics, both in terms of story and gameplay. To help you navigate this world, we have created this resource that will show you the default keyboard and mouse shortcuts for the game.

Default Control Scheme & Hotkeys

Mouse Controls

Left Mouse Button – Select

Right Mouse Button + Drag – Pan Camera

Scroll – Camera Zoom In – Out

Scroll + Press – Camera Rotate

Keyboard Controls

W, A, S, D – Camera Movement

TAB – Switch Placement Mode (Grid/Free)

R – Placement Rotate 90 degrees

Q, E – Placement Rotate (Only Free Mode)

1, 2, 3 – Change Game Speed

Space – Pause Game

5 – Start/Stop Day Night Cycle

ALT – Change Build Info Layer
