There are four most important things you need to build in order to survive: an Inflatable Dome, a Depository, a Forge, and a Habitat.

As soon as you build the Forge, make sure you have shovels, as they are very useful from the start.

If you encounter any alien species, try to use boosting to save stamina. If you die in combat, you will re-spawn where you last saved your game (Inflatable Dome), so we recommend getting to the corpse location and collecting all your items.

The map you have has all the coordinates for finding rare locations for metals, geysers, cave entrances, and resources like berries and rubber.

Use barrels to capture gas from geysers; it’s one of the important resources for beginners.

Go to the player menu and look at the button above the avatar to create a colony, invite friends, or invite other players to join and help you with building.

If you want to sprint faster, you should try running hands-free, and to quickly equip and unequip, use ‘E.’

Tired of mining? Use your droid to mine for you. They will deposit all the mined resources into the depository you built.

Hold Shift + Left Click on an item to transfer the whole stack between inventories. To move one item at a time, left-click and drag to the desired location slot.

Holding Shift + Right Click on items will drop them from the inventory. You can use Right Click to move one item in the stack.

If you think you’ve mastered exploration, then simply wait for night to fall, as more species will try to attack you in the dark. Make use of your flashlight.

You can rename your robot with your multi-tool, and it has more uses than just repairing. Similarly, chisels can be used as melee weapons against small aliens rather than just pulverizing solid material.

Other than small species, you will encounter other intelligent aliens who will not come out when you are in a pack but will evade you with greater agility when found alone.

Having FPS issues? You can try lowering the terrain details, as the developers have provided high graphic quality typically only found in AAA games.

Once you craft any item on the crafting table, make sure you grab it from the crafting station’s inventory.
