PC Controls for Armored Warfare

This handy guide lays out all the default keyboard controls and key bindings you’ll be using in Armored Warfare on your PC. Good news is, most of these can be tweaked right from the settings menu. Keep this guide close for a quick refresher whenever you need it!!

 

 

Default Keyboard Controls & Key Bindings

Moving Around:

  • Press W to move forward.

 

  • Hit S to back up.

 

  • Use A to go left, and D to go right.

 

  • Tap R for cruise control going forward (you can press it multiple times to change speed settings).

 

  • Press F for reverse cruise control, also with speed presets.

 

  • Space is your go-to for braking.

 

 

Taking Action:

  • Use G to launch smoke grenades – pretty cool for some cover!

 

  • E activates your special ability.

 

  • C is for reloading your autocannon’s clip.

 

  • Turn on the headlights with H.

 

  • Switch sniper mode on or off with LShift.

 

 

Ammo and Stuff You Need:

  • Numbers 1 to 5 let you choose different ammo types. You can set these up in the garage.

 

  • For consumables, use keys 6 to 9. Again, set these up in your garage.

 

 

Checking Things Out:

  • Press Tab to see who’s on your team and the game score.

 

  • Z opens a quick chat menu.

 

  • Need help?? Hit F1.

 

 

Chatting:

  • Press Enter to start chatting or send your message.

 

  • Use Tab to switch chat channels. You can talk to your team, everyone, or just your platoon.

 

 

Quick Chat Commands:

  • T when you want to tell your team to attack.

 

  • F4 to say “Defend the base!”

 

  • F5 for “Yes” or “Affirmative!”

 

  • F6 is a simple “No” or “Negative!”

 

  • Need help? F7 is your call.

 

  • F8 lets your team know you’re reloading.

 

  • And don’t forget to say “Thanks!” with F9.

 

 

Using Your Mouse:

  • The left mouse button (LMB) is for shooting.

 

  • Right-click (RMB) either aims automatically at enemies or lets you move the camera while holding it.

 

 

Other Useful Keys:

  • F2 hides all the game info on your screen, for a cleaner look.

 

  • PrtScr saves a screenshot of your epic moments.

 

  • Press L-Ctrl to bring up your mouse cursor during battle.
