Ah, Ancient Egypt. The marvels that were constructed hundreds of years ago in this place are still marvels of engineering, and they did not even have all of the tools and machines that we have today. The Ancient Egyptians had true ingenuity, and were incredibly skilled in a number of different ways.

Now, I am not saying that I would personally like to live in Ancient Egyptian times (I enjoy air conditioning too much), but I do definitely appreciate the philosophy, mythology, and feats of engineering of this time period. Thankfully, all of these things can be experienced from the comfort of your own home thanks to Triskell Interactive’s Pharaoh: A New Era.

This city-building/management simulator remake puts players in the role of a Pharaoh, and tasks them with establishing one of the greatest civilizations the world has ever known. Through fifty missions that can total in more than one hundred hours of gameplay, players will cultivate lands along the Nile, build iconic monuments, and manage a growing populace.

There’s a lot to do, and a ton of responsibility, so you’re going to want to make sure every move you make is the right one. There’s nothing worse than pressing the wrong key or clicking the wrong icon and then spending the next hour fixing the mistake you made.
