Rocket League’s New Training Mode Announced!
Rocket League’s community continues to thrive, with PC modders releasing new tools to help elevate play to the next level. Taking cues from their dedicated fans, Psyonix has announced that the next update to Rocket League will feature a brand-new Custom Training mode.
This may not sound like a big deal, but knowing how competitive Rocket League can get – and how absurdly skilled its top players are – Custom Training should prove to be an invaluable tool for aspiring pros. With this tool, you can create training sequences that allow anyone to practice making shots under the most specific of conditions. You’ll be able to tag and share your custom creations online, as well as search for other sequences using a robust search engine. The database will also highlight the most popular sequences and allow you to update your sequences at any time, automatically alerting your followers of any changes to your work.
Custom Training is not out yet, but Psyonix is already planning future updates to the feature. They plan to improve the overall browsing experience and add more sequence options, like different shot types and randomized shot lists. The first iteration of Custom Training will be hitting all versions of Rocket League “soon.”
