Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 All Side Opp Locations Guide

Starting side missions (side-ops) and finding their locations can be a bit confusing in Sniper Ghost Warrior 3. After doing enough main missions in a region (Mining Town / Village / Dam), so called “Resistance Operatives” will be unlocked. The resistance operatives give you the first side mission for that region. All the follow-up quests will be sent to the laptop in your safe house automatically. However, different quest lines will require you to find another Resistance Operative and accept the quest from them.

Operatives are marked on the map via an exclamation point but are very hard to see. The exclamation point is colored white and the operatives are often in buildings, which are also white on the map. As a result of this poor game design the icons are very hard to see.

There are 3 side missions in Mining Town, 3 in Village, 10 in Dam. This makes a total of 16 side missions in the entire game.

Mining Town

Rotki Lions I (Act 1)

The starting point of this mission will become available as you play through the main missions of Act 1.

Rotki Lions II (Act 1)

Sent automatically to your laptop after Rotki Lions I. Must progress through Act 1 to trigger it.

Clear Out (Act 2)

After completing Rotki Lions II and progressing through Act 2, go to this marker.

Village

Burning Bridges I (Act 2)

Burning Bridges II (Act 2)

Sent automatically to your laptop after completing Burning Bridges I. Must progress through Act 2 to trigger it.

Bridge (Act 4)

Sent automatically to your laptop during Act 4 (check under Act 4 missions).

Dam

Loose Ends I (Act 3)

Loose Ends II (Act 3)

Sent automatically to your laptop.

Loose Ends III (Act 3)

Sent automatically to your laptop.

Loose Ends IV (Act 4)

Sent automatically to your laptop after Loose Ends I – III have been completed. Do note that it’s listed under Act 4 (not Act 3 like the last 3 missions!). You must progress into act 4 or do it after the story.

Loose Ends V (Act 4)

Sent automatically to your laptop after Loose Ends IV.

Opium Wars I (Act 3)

Opium Wars II (Act 3)

Sent to your laptop after Opium Wars I.

Opium Wars III (Act 3)

Sent to your laptop after Opium Wars II.

Opium Wars IV (Act 3)

Sent to your laptop after Opium Wars III.

Opium Wars V (Act 4)

Sent automatically to your laptop after Opium Wars I – IV have been completed. Do note that it’s listed under Act 4 (not Act 3 like the previous side missions!). You must progress into act 4 or do it after the story.
