Spy Ships

Every top-notch admiral understands the golden worth of intel. In Star Trek: Infinite, your go-to for collecting the inside scoop is the spy ship. Keep an eye out for its unique symbol to spot it; Manage and pick your ships with ease using the outliner on your screen’s right.

Diving into Uncharted Waters

A key role of your spy ship is to venture into other factions’ territories. It’s a bold move with its share of risks but the payoffs can be stellar… There’s a slim chance your ship might fly under the radar, but heads up! If they catch you in the act, you might need to jet out of there pronto to sidestep any diplomatic messes.

Your Spy Toolkit

Clicking on your spy ship reveals a handy tooltip at the screen’s bottom left. It lays out a bunch of cool ops you can kickstart:

Defensive Counter Espionage

Think you’re on someone’s radar? (Watch out, those Romulans are sneaky!) Set your spy to auto-track and nab enemy agents. A simple left-click or ‘K’ hotkey will do.

Deep-Dive Espionage

Ready to roll the dice? Dispatch your spy to enemy, ally, or neutral zones. Once in, the sky’s the limit:

Intel Collection: Tune into their plans, motives, and power plays.

Star Base Hacks: This can flip the script in wars. Eyeing a region? Weakening their star base can pave the way for an easier takeover.

Planet Infiltration

You can even zero in on their main worlds. Some sneaky moves here include:

Propaganda: Win over the locals to your cause, smoothing future transitions.

Tech Heists: Boost your tech game by swiping their designs.

Energy Leech: Amp up your energy stash by tapping into their planet for a solid ten years.

Making Your Move

After locking in your operation, click on your spy ship and then target your objective, whether it’s a star base, planet, or what have you. A menu pops up with a range of choices. Pick your play, sit back, and watch the magic as your spy gets down to business.
