Default Controls

Below is a list of default controls for State of Decay 2 on the Xbox console.

 

  • Forward – Left Stick

 

  • Sprint – LB plus Left Stick

 

  • Right – Left Stick

 

  • Left – Left Stick

 

  • Backwards – Left Stick

 

  • Crouch – Tap B

 

  • Sneak – Hold B + Left Stick

 

  • Stealth Takedown – Hold RT + Y (from behind)

 

  • Flashlight On/Off – Click Left Stick

 

  • Jump – A

 

  • Camera Control – Right Stick

 

  • Access inventory – Down on D-Pad

 

  • Melee Attack – Tap X

 

  • Aim – Left Trigger

 

  • Fire – Right Trigger

 

  • Throw Item – Left Trigger + Right

 

  • Dodge – B + Left Stick

 

  • Eat / Restore Stamina – RB

 

  • Action Button – A

 

  • Open/Close Door – Y

 

  • Break Down Door – Y then Rapid-Tap X

 

  • Search – Hold Y

 

  • Pick Lock – Hold Y

 

  • Enter/Exit Vehicle – Y

 

  • Talk – Y
