The crew includes a pilot, gunners, mechanics, and an armorer. The crew can be trained by using experience obtained in battle.
The crew’s main skills are:
- Keen Vision is a pilot’s skill, influencing his range of vision in the direction of his look, i.e., the maximum distance at which he can spot an enemy.
- Awareness is another pilot’s skill, influencing his range of vision around the aircraft.
- G-Tolerance is a skill belonging to both the pilot and gunners; as it increases, it reduces the crew members’ sensitivity to positive and negative g-forces; for instance, at higher g-tolerance levels, the pilot’s vision will not turn black during an abrupt dive.
- Stamina allows the pilot and gunners to resist fatigue for a longer period of time (their accuracy and g-tolerance gradually decrease, depending on the time spent in the session and the amount of g-forces sustained).
- Vitality is a skill that increases the pilot’s and gunners’ health and recovery speed after they are wounded in battle.
- Number of Experienced Gunners. If an aircraft has more total gunners than experienced gunners, the crew cannot perform at maximum efficiency.
- Fire Accuracy is a skill that increases the gunner’s marksmanship.
- Fire Density is a skill that reduces the gunner’s spread when shooting, increasing his precision.
- Repair Speed is a mechanic’s skill, influencing the speed at which a damaged aircraft is repaired in the hangar and at the airfield.
- Repair Rank is a mechanic’s skill, influencing the maximum rank of aircraft that the mechanic’s skills can be used on.
- Reload Speed is an armorer’s skill, increasing the speed at which weapons are reloaded in the air and at the airfield.
- Weapon maintenance is an armorer’s skill that increases the efficiency of the aircraft weaponry. Reduces the overheating speed of primary weapons, as well as spread of bombs and rockets.
