If any of that delightful chaos happens, don’t despair! Just abandon the quest you got from Lorekeeper Lydros, destroy the [Unfired Ancient Blade] (if you haven’t already used it as a paperweight), and haul yourself back to the Dire Maul library.

There, you can get another [Unfired Ancient Blade] and the quest again. The good news? You won’t have to suffer through getting another [Foror’s Compendium of Dragon Slaying] – consider that a small victory!
