WoW Classic – How to Get to Blackfathom Deeps

Blackfathom Deeps is tucked away on the Zoram Strand in Ashenvale, and getting there depends on your faction.

Alliance:

If you’re rolling in from an Alliance hub, your best bet is to fly into Astranaar. From there, take the main road heading northwest. You’ll weave through the towering trees of Ashenvale, passing through the lush forest with its mix of purple-hued canopies and moonlit clearings. Keep following the path, and eventually, you’ll hit the Zoram Strand. Once you see the dark, rocky coastline and the ruins sticking out of the water, you’re in the right spot—just look for the cave entrance leading down into Blackfathom Deeps.

Horde:

If you’re running Horde, start by flying into Sun Rock Retreat in the Stonetalon Mountains. From there, make your way north through the Talondeep Path, which cuts through the mountain into Ashenvale. Once you emerge on the other side, follow the main road northwest. You’ll pass through dense woodland, weaving past ancient night elf ruins and patrolling Sentinels, until the trees give way to the dark shores of the Zoram Strand. Keep an eye out for the jagged rocks and the eerie, half-sunken ruins—Blackfathom Deeps is waiting beneath the waves.
