WoW Classic – How to Obtain Shadowforge Key
Shadowforge Key is used to open Shadowforge Doors in Blackrock Depths. This allows you to skip things such as the lower portions of the instance, the Ring of Law encounter and gives you access to the Grim Guzzler bar.
How to Obtain Shadowforge Key
To obtain this key, you need to speak to the owner of the key, Franclorn Forgewright. The catch being, he’s dead and only interactable while you’re a ghost. He’s located in a room called Forgewright’s Tomb in Blackrock Mountain.
After talking to Franclorn, accept the quest Dark Iron Legacy. This quest requires you to slay Fineous Darkvire and obtain Ironfel. You then need to bring Ironfel to the Shrine of Thaurissan, the statue located behind Pyromancer Loregrain and place Ironfel there. Once done so, you will complete the quest and receive the Shadowforge Key.
Note: Rogues can pick Shadowforge Doors at Lockpicking 280.
