All Hero Characters & How to Unlock Them

Name	Role	How to Unlock
Alexandria	Attacker / Incursor	Battle a squad of Agnian soldiers under the arch in the Fornis desert. To unlock her, start the “Her Reasons” side mission.
Ashera	Defender / Lone Exile	After destroying the Annihilator in Chapter 5, go to Colony 11 and interact with the quest marker near the gates.
Cammuravi	Attacker / Seraph	Complete the hero quest “A Twist of Fate.”
Ethel	Attacker / Flash Fencer	Unlocks as part of the main story.
Fiona	Healer / Signifer	In the Candensia Region’s Conchronk Beach landmark, finish the “Transparent Dreams” hero quest.
Ghondor	Attacker / Martial Artist	Unlocks as part of the main story.
Gray	Attacker / Full Metal Jaguar	Go to the Aetia Region and interact with the quest marker near Kamos Outpost during Chapter 2.
Isurd	Healer / Strategos	Chapter 4: Free Colony Lambda
Juniper	Attacker / Stalker	After freeing Colony Tau and Maktha Wildwood in Chapter 4, this hero becomes available as part of the main story.
Melia	Attacker / Royal Summoner	Return to the main floor after freeing Keves Castle and interact with the quest marker.
Miyabi	Healer / Troubadour	Colony Omega’s citizens must be set free.
Monica	Defender / Lost Vanguard	To unlock her, you must complete the hero quest “Vandham’s Heir.”
Nia	Healer / Lifesage	After first meeting Nia, return to The Hall of the Serene and initiate her quest.
Riku and Manana	Attacker / Yumsmith	Unlocks in Chapter 3 of the main campaign after completing the quest “A Nopon’s Counsel.”
Segiri	Attacker / Machine Assassin	Complete several side quests at Colony 4 before embarking on a quest to liberate Colony 0.
Teach	Healer / Thaumaturge	In chapter 2, free Colony Gamma.
Triton	Attacker / Soulhacker	Begin the Colony 15 Liberation Quest in Candensia, then complete side quests until he appears.
Valdi	Healer / War Medic	To unlock him, free Colony 30.
Zeon	Defender / Guardian Commander	This hero becomes available as part of the main story once you free Colony 9.
