New Game + and Premium Adventure
Once you complete the game, you’ll make a Clear Save Data. This data can be applied to a New Game + or a Premium Adventure. To start a Premium Adventure, either go to New Game or Continue and select a file labeled “Premium Adventure” and say “No”, that you don’t want to start a new game with that data. To start a New Game +, go to Continue, select a file labeled “Premium Adventure” and say “Yes”, you do want to start a new game with that data.
If you create a New Game +, you’ll have the option of using that data to start a brand new story with a considerable amount of progress in side stuff already applied. Here’s the stuff you keep:
- -Experience
- -Money
- -Most Items, except for those tied to Substories or the story
- -All Weapons and Gear
- -Stats and Abilities unlocked
- -For the Completion List –
- Adventure: Everything
- Battle: Everything
- Substories: Nothing
- Minigames: Everything
- Clan Creator: Everything but story mission progress
- Cabaret Club Grand Prix: Everything but story mission progress
The following things do NOT carry over to a New Game +:
- -Story Progress
- -Substories
- -Clan Creator story progress
- -Cabaret Club story progress
- -Locker Keys and Hidden Items WILL be re-scattered for collection.
Most of the preceding is tied to Substories anyway, which is why they’re reset.
As for Premium Adventure, the idea behind it is that it’s basically a post-game free roam. If you start with a Clear Save, you can treat it like a true post-game, because you’ll be placed exactly as you were when you finished the game with all your progress intact. You can access any substories you’ve missed, continue progress on Clan Creator, Cabaret Club, any Minigames, all for the purpose of shooting towards 100% completion.
Furthermore, you can go to Serena or Aoi and access a new door there, whereby you can change your outfit. DLC outfits will be available to change into.
Lastly, while in Premium Adventure, Kamiyama has a few extra weapons to round out your weapon list, and you can buy Sacrifice Stones from either Ebisu Pawn.
